With a nod from Northland administration, the marketing department initiated and led a rebranding project earlier this fall. Northland worked with Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Object, a branding, marketing, and digital agency, to develop a unifying master brand for the college. With guidance from Object, a comprehensive research and discovery process was completed by conducting surveys and holding focus groups with several key stakeholders including staff, faculty, students, and alumni as well as education and industry partners getting their opinions and finding out what they thought about the current Northland brand. Data collected during discovery laid the groundwork and was instrumental in guiding the overall design direction. Once completed, the new brand design concepts were presented to administration for final approval.
We are very excited to unveil the new brand to the Northland community for the first time! Object will be leading a presentation to guide folks through the data-driven rebranding process and reveal Northland’s new brand identity.
